Newport is known for its mansions but they offer so much more than just house tours. Mudslides …
Newport loves mudslides! There is an unofficial mudslide competition between bars and restaurants in Newport and surrounding areas. The benchmark many aspire to is The Oar on Block Island which is an easy day trip by ferry from Perrotti Park. If you don’t feel like leaving the island, check out Mudslide Mondays at Hotel Viking, The Black Pearl, O’Brien’s Pub, The Red Parrot, and most notably, the Marina Café and Pub.
