Music…

July is filled with great concerts, festivals, and live music. Newport has a diverse art and music scene from intimate outdoor settings to late night rock and roll and dueling pianos. Here’s a lineup of what the July music scene has to offer.

– Folk Festival

– NIMfest Concerts in King Park

– Newport Vineyards Wednesday Music  Series

– Newport Classical Music Festival

– Warren Summer Concerts

– Family Night Concerts at Easton’s Beach

– Music in the Park at Paradise Valley Park in Middletown

– Live music at restaurants and bars – Here is a list Discover Newport has pulled together

Mansions…

Newport is known for its mansions but they offer so much more than just house tours. Comprising 10 properties with extensive events, guest speakers, and programming, take a look inside ‘The Gilded Age’, peek ‘Beneath the Breakers’, stroll the garden series at Green Animals, or attend one of their large-scale festivals. Check out Newport Mansions for more information.

Mudslides …

Newport loves mudslides! There is an unofficial mudslide competition between bars and restaurants in Newport and surrounding areas. The benchmark many aspire to is The Oar on Block Island which is an easy day trip by ferry from Perrotti Park. If you don’t feel like leaving the island, check out Mudslide Mondays at Hotel Viking, The Black PearlO’Brien’s PubThe Red Parrot, and most notably, the Marina Café and Pub

Market Analysis…

The market is certainly adjusting from 2020 with increased interest rates, more contingencies such as home inspections are back on the table, and as we head into the presidential election real estate transactions tend to slow down. With all that said, there is still low inventory hovering around a 2-month supply.

A healthy market between buyers and sellers is a 6-month supply of inventory. To figure out the value of your home, many factors need to be considered including location, condition, upgrades, living square footage, and much more.

Trust the team experience to provide you with an honest and accurate market analysis of your home. The market is still strong and pricing correctly can get top dollar for your home.
