If you celebrate Christmas, the time has come to start thinking about where to get your tree. For those that live on or around Aquidneck Island there is not a shortage of places to cut down your own tree, or to pick a freshly cut tree from a local tree farm. I am a little biased, as I have my own family tradition of going to The Farmer’s Daughter with my family, having hot fresh apple cider donuts along with hot apple cider for the adults and hot chocolate for the kids from the Hard Pressed Cider Company, this is one of my most favorite days of the year. Here is a list of seven local farms to pick from so you can create your own traditions while in the search for the perfect tree!
