November resonates with time spent among family and friends. It is a month of slowing down and gathering for enjoyable conversation, wonderful food, and fun activities. There tends to be a fair number of traditions happening as the holidays approach and in our humble opinion there is always room to add a new one to the mix!

Fall is coming so why not head to PPAC for some amazing Broadway shows. The Providence Performing Arts Center has already announced the 2024-2025 lineup. Some of our favorites will be coming back like “Hamilton”, “Mamma Mia”, and “Chicago”, as well as some new lesser known shows. PPAC also offers the option to purchase multiple shows together under the Broadway Series and Encore Series options. Buy for yourself to fill the colder months with great shows or give as a gift. Personal Property
What is personal property as it pertains to real estate? Personal property refers to movable assets that are not fixed to any land or structure.
Often, during a sales transaction, buyers will fall in love with personal items in a home which can potentially cause problems. As Realtors, we advise our sellers to either replace items before listing or disclose what will or will not convey with the sale. We refer to this as chattels; movable personal property that is not permanently attached to the property.
A few examples would be furniture, appliances, curtains, and movable outdoor equipment. One of the most frequent items that buyers tend to want with a sale are light fixtures. Light fixtures are permanently attached to the property and convey with a sale. This is a perfect example of when a seller should swap out that cherished light fixture before listing!
